You can Breethe easy now...

Only a little more than two months behind Anya... Bree can finally walk!
Yes- we compare our children around here. Especially the twins. And we have no intention of ever stopping- we want them to grow up despising us and each other...

You'll notice a "wardrobe change," during this video. We started trying to get her to walk between us very early, before anyone was even dressed. So when we realized that she was finally going to take some steps, we got some clothes on and started taping. We tried again later in the afternoon after we had been swimming out back, and I didn't want to put shirts on them for dinner. Notice the corresponding wardrobe change of the messy living room. Poor room is clean for about two minutes during the daytime. But this makes me feel a little better about it. ;-)

Very cute! Too many times I am oblivious to the surroundings when I take pictures. Luckily I think I end up seeing them before I post or show them to people.

I have been guilty of cleaning up just behind the kids or moving them to a not so messy area for a picture. LOL

Perfect! ;-D

Congratulations to Bree for walking!

(See, I told you they eventually get it down. Hee hee. But you knew that, didn't you?)

Hey, do your kids love the camera as much as mine do?

When I record them, especially Princess, I have to turn that little pop-out screen around so that she can see herself while I record her.

Annoying sometimes. But totally worth the price to get them to do their silly and fun things! Ha!

Congratulations on the achievement over there. You guys are awesome!

Look at her go! Awesome. I am still waiting for Peiton to take the big step, I think we still have a while away.

So cute! I love the streamer with the gummy bear. It seems to be quite effective. Anya was so good to let her sister have the first go and then walk on over to check for her gummy bear. Congrats on the milestone!

Anya did get a turn at the gummy streamer just before we taped Bree doing it, heehee. In fact we put her at the other end of the room right after she got it so Bree could take a turn without competition- ha!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm glad you found me and i'll be back! Your babies are precious! What is funny to watch is how the 2nd baby came on the scene & Bree looked at her and paused and then was like...ohhhh this is how to do it!

I love that you never use sarcasm. I feel so normal. If they need therapy, there ought to be a reason, right?? Why pay that much money?? Steve named Brie. (I had my son named when I was 16 and wasn't changing when we got married. I thought he could have the first girl.) Her middle name is Nichele. It was going to be Hailee until just before she was born and we went to a Star Trek movie. The real ones, with Captain Kirk. Steve's a trekky, but not a weird one, he says. Uhura's real name is Nichelle Nichols. I don't know if I was being stubborn by adding only one L but I like it. Mikele only has one L so they are kind of a like. My mom was dating her husband, Andre' from Switzerland - soon to be grandpa Andre', at the time. (They have lived in Switzerland for 20 years) I had never heard of Brie cheese. Small town girl. He was dumbstruck. It totally fits her, though. When we went to Switzerland she was 15. We had her stand by the huge row of Brie Cheese and hold a big one up. We were laughing. I'm sure the 'non tourists' wondered what was so funny about the cheese. Andre' was speaking french to them, so he could have been telling them we had just been hatched. She didn't walk until she was 14 months. She is still a "mosey". All and more you didn't want to know about Brie!! I love babies all together. They are so cute. Easy for me to say!

Blogstalker, I totally do the same thing! Especially when I am posting pics for my recipe blog! Hello, I was cooking in a small kitchen!

Your girls are so cute!!! They are walking and doing such a good job. Your one daughter is a pro at it, she is definitely sure footed!!!

Sorry, I seriously fight the sarcastic thing, but I think it came with the kids:)

And by the way. Too cute, the whole gummy bear on the streaqmer bit. Reminds me of the dangling carrot in front of the carrot cartoon..

Kids are the absolute greatest. They may give us ulcers and grey hair, but they give us such wonderful memories that make it so so worth it!

You could do a whole series of these videos. You know how they called the first movies with sound "talkies?" Your movies will be "Walkies!"

YAY!!! I had to watch this with the sound off though. Its 4:30am...and Mike is asleep. So...I will just say what I saw, and hope you weren't narrating the same thing. I love that Anya tried to see if there was a snack left for her!!! hahahahaha Too cute. And the look on Bree's face is so triumphant!
