Yawn

Last night the thunder was so loud that at 2:55 the jolt set off our smoke detectors.

The girls all slept through it. Zach and I didn't.

Isn't it scary to think that kids don't even hear those things! Someone did a study and it showed that kids under age 11 don't typically wake up for smoke alarms! Makes me nervous.

I heard it from the beginning (the little rumbles coming in)to the huge flashes and bangs to the very end(the little rumbles going out)...it lasted for atleast an hour and then i could not get to sleep!!! My girls slept right through it all!! I was waiting for the tornado sirens!!!

I hate those things. Ours went off a couple of months ago and we could not figure out how to shut them up. After like 3 hours of them going on and off every 3 minutes, we figured it out. It probably would have taken someone else like 5 minutes to get them to shut up...not us, we like to make things difficult.

Ha! Sorry...guess I shouldn't laugh. No one else did.... But I was at work and could enjoy the storm through my patients' blinds. Because we have to close the blinds during severe t-storm warnings. Don't know why...in case something comes crashing through the windows? Because the blinds will protect them? Anyway...ha!
